Northside Baptist Church - located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, recently completed construction of their first phase of renovations. The design-build team of Smyrna, Tennessee based contractor Dow Smith Company and Kansas City, Missouri based architect Mantel Teter served this project. The second phase of renovations and an atrium/lobby addition will follow these renovations very soon.
New Creation Church - located in Longmont, Colorado, has begun interior renovation construction. Kansas City, Missouri based architect, Mantel Teter, has completed the design process to update the interior fit and finish of their existing facilities. Loveland, Colorado based contractor Elder Construction has been selected as the church’s construction partner.
Abundant Life is a multi-site church that is preparing to extend their ministry reach to the Crossroads District in Kansas City, Missouri with the help of design-build team Mantel Teter and Pearce Construction.
Kansas City’s Crossroads District is an eclectic enclave of boutique shops, one-of-a-kind restaurants, creative businesses, studios, art galleries and residential development. Abundant Life identified the continued mixed-use redevelopment trend in this area as a unique ministry opportunity.
Mantel Teter helped the church identify an existing 24,000 square foot, 2-story, retail building located at 1840 Cherry Street that was suitable for supporting the church’s mission. Existing building transformation plans include a 600-seat worship space, fellowship and connection space, classrooms, an outdoor performance venue and a rooftop patio overlooking the city skyline.
Lord of Hosts Church, located in Omaha, Nebraska, is nearing the start of construction for their new 1500-seat Sanctuary, gathering areas and support spaces. This project has been transformational as new life is reborn into an old retail building. Local Omaha, Nebraska contractor, Lund-Ross Constructors, is serving as the selected general contractor.
City Church, located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, recently broke ground for their new home on their acquired property at Bridge Avenue. The design-build team of Smyrna, Tennessee based contractor Dow Smith Company and Kansas City, Missouri based architect Mantel Teter are looking forward to seeing this project come out of the ground and become a ministry tool for this great church serving the urban core of Murfreesboro.
Manna Fellowship Church - located in Raymore, Missouri, is nearing construction completion with their selected design-build team of Shawnee, Kansas based contractor Straub Construction and Kansas City, Missouri based architect Mantel Teter. This second phase facility includes additional classroom space and support spaces needed for the church’s continued growth surge and strategy.

Fellowship Bible Church, located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee is starting construction on their Phase 2 Children's Building addition which will provide additional classrooms, a large group auditorium for kids and other ministry groups, additional office space, and a renovated and enlarged lounge area for hospitality and gathering. The church returned to their original design build team of Mantel Teter and Dow Smith Construction.
Christ Community Church’s Downtown Campus is currently occupying leased space located in the Crossroads District, the center of the arts community in Downtown Kansas City. The church is an intergenerational collection of individuals and families from different communities purposed for the flourishing of Downtown KC.
As the church began to run out of space, they began searching for other facility options that would better accommodate their current and future needs. After researching several different location, the church identified a 2-story 20,000 square foot building located at 208 West 19th Street in Kansas City, Missouri as a potential new home.
Kansas City, Missouri’s Crosspointe Baptist Church joined forces with Belton, Missouri’s Manna Fellowship Church, who relocated to a leased facility near the intersection of 58 highway and 291 highway east of Raymore, Missouri. The church’s mission is to “…elevate God in our personal lives, church, community and world.
The newly formed church experienced explosive growth that put pressure on the facility’s ability to support ministry. With the desire to provide facilities that would support further growth, the church selected Mantel Teter as their partner in discovering the facility type, size and location that would meet their immediate and future needs.
Taking advantage of the current environment surrounding COVID-19, with church services being held online only, Evangel Church has begun construction on their platform and back-of-house remodel. The new elevated platform is backed with a 36’ wide video screen wall, with updated sound system and room acoustics. The back of house now includes a green room, production suite, and ample side-wing storage with direct access to the platform. The goal is to be complete when services are once again held onsite!
Construction is well under way at The Summit! The church is very excited to see steel erection for their Phase 2 building addition, which includes a chapel space, offices and meeting rooms. With perimeter walls going up, the addition is starting to take shape! Construction is scheduled to be completed near the end of this year. The project's contractor is A.L. Huber Construction.
Community Church - located in Batesville, Indianna is making construction progress on their renovation of an old downtown building. Mantel Teter has been honored to work at both church campus locations! Edwards-Rigdon Construction is serving as the general contractor.
Mill Creek Church Photography - located in Shawnee, Kansas, has completed construction for the renovation of most of the existing lobby space where the buildings connect. The renovation also included new staff office spaces and a new student ministry venue. “This new space will provide relevant ministry tools for children, students and staff.” commented Brian Rathsam, the Project Architect. Pearce Construction served as the general contractor.
LifePoint Church - located in Smyrna, Tennessee, has begun construction of renovations to their existing facilities. Immediate facility needs include consolidation of staff offices, better configured children’s ministry space and student ministry space, and improving overall security and wayfinding/connection throughout the facility. "We’re honored and excited to see the transformations of their existing space happen; they will become great tools for ministry." stated David Evans, Principal for the project. Dow Smith Company is serve as the general contractor.

An exterior façade renovation to this existing retail building was also part of this major project. "This project has been transformational as new life is reborn into an old retail building.” commented Brian Rathsam, the Project Architect for the project. Local Omaha, NE contractor, Lund-Ross Constructors, served as the general contractor.

Grace Community Church - located in Smithville, Missouri, is nearing completion on their kid’s classroom expansion, while also renovating the lobby and kid’s check-in of the existing building. “The entire team is excited to complete construction and we’re anxious to witness the great things this new space will do for the church’s ministries.” commented Skyler Phelps, the Project Architect. Pearce Construction is serving as the general contractor.

Fellowship Greenwood - located in Greenwood, Missouri, has begun construction of their new children’s ministry building and entry/atrium renovation. A brand-new parking lot expansion was just completed as well. Pearce Construction is serving as the general contractor. The project is expected to complete construction in July 2019.
